Social Engineering in Social Networks

Social engineering in my msn list is almost like a new year which always comes if we are still there to see it (or if we are gone). Every so often some on my friends sends me a link to see " LOL look me and you naked!!!!" Why should a guy who does not even speak English send me something ike that, it is so freaking obvious, and they are still falling for that. After some time I started to wonder how easy it really is to get someones credit card or social security number. People do not even bother to read what they are clicking. It is said that you have to take the money from stupid people but that is just to much.
Anyway I don´t think that there is much to be done to make the situation and phishing attempts to go away. People are still clicking on anything they can and will out every that will ask theire credit card numbers. Well not all the people of course, but many. The cycle can´t be stopped as well. The are so many new computer users coming from 3rd world countries who are just eager to click and to fill and to enjoy all things world wide web is offering. And it is offering much, like to loose all your money at once!
